Since 2016, we have been supporting companies working for a green energy mix in the search for talent. Today, we are recruiting for our client, a Chief Business Development Officer.

Our client aims to be a notorious company in the renewable or low-carbon hydrogen market in France and Europe.

Vos Missions

Reporting to the Managing Director (CEO), as CDO and part of the Executive Committee, you will be in charge of :

  1. Driving the company’s commercial and business development agenda :
  • Identifying business opportunities, and building a network of potential business partners and off takers
  • Driving leads into profitable sales with fully satisfied customers
  • Defining development objectives in line with the Business Plan and setting up the necessary organization and team to achieve those objectives.
  1. Leading the company’s Marketing and Communication strategy
  • Managing the company’s offer portfolio package
  • Represent the society in various networks (groups, committees, events about H2, renewable or related to targeted sectors)
  1. Managing the Government & Public Affairs Representative
    • As the direct manager of the Government & Public Affairs Representative, you will be in charge of supervising his/her work (watch and analysis of laws & regulations, relations with relevant public entities, etc.)
  2. Taking an active role in the Strategic Plan and Business Models development

Together with the Executive Committee you will actively take part in the elaboration of the strategic Business Plan of the company as well as the elaboration of the underlying business models

Profil recherché

Graduate from Grande Ecole de Commerce, Grande Ecole d’Ingénieur, Science Po or equivalent, you have a minimum of 8 years of experience in the sale of projects or solutions optimized for specific client usage within the infrastructure or energy sector :

  • Experience in Project Development or Complex Project Sales within the infrastructure or energy sector
  • Experience in Management
  • Experience in relation with public administration
  • Desirable experience in the energy markets, particularly in key account based business models



  • Deep knowledge of complex sales or complex development project with multistakeholders
  • Ability to understand customers partners business and needs
  • Used to interact/sell at C level in large and medium corporations
  • Knowledge of project development energy regulation and policies in France is very appreciated
  • Good command of English and French. Spanish being a plus.
  • Leadership skills, well balance with teamplayer habits
  • Innovative, with a great personal balance between entrepreneurship and excellence in the delivery
  • Excellent communication and representation skills
  • Excellent analytical skills

Remuneration: Commensurate with experience
